Our weekend at the Beach!
This is the beautiful view from the apartment window. We had a wonderful weekend at the Beach we had just a couple of problems one was getting there we got really, really lost it was supposed to be a 2 hour trip but it took us over 3 hours to get there, and the other problem was that we got a little sunburned (all of us even w/ sunscreen on)



Bianca was so happy she hopped everywhere.
The beach that we were at was very calm, the waves were very little and not strong at all so the kids got to jump some little waves and were also able to swim with no problems at all.

It was very nice the ocean water here is so nice and warm and the ocean was so calm that weekend, it was perfect.
CJ eating his favorite food PASTEL it is delicious! The first 2 weeks we were here in Brazil it was all he wanted to eat.

São Paulo ZOO

Our trip to the ZOO was alot of fun we got home very tired after walking all day but it was worth it. We spent the day together and saw some beautiful and interesting animals (some we qualified as very stinky animals).
The Zoo here in São Paulo is very big and because it is close to the Amazon it has a large number of weird,unusual and beautiful animals. We saw the biggest ant eater, lots of different birds that are on the endangered species list, different snakes...
The kids were amazed by all the animals especially the lion.
CJ said he loved seeing the crocodiles, the birds with so many different colors( the toucan was his favourite), of course the snakes, big ant eater,bears... ( I think he liked everything!)
Bianca liked everything even the stinky and weird looking ones, she really liked to see the lion and hear his roaring.
It was a very good day!

São Paulo ZOO

It was so much fun we could not believe that there was a place like that in a crazy city like this and so close to an area that has so many buildings. Amazing!
We spent all day at the park walking, chasing the chicks and others animals that were around, we went on a train ride, the kids played ball w/ dad, we had a picnic, we had fun at the aquarium...... We had lots of fun in a beautiful place.
The park had amazing bamboo trees and old buildings, we will definitely go back.
